The 12th congressional district shifted significantly in the 2020 United States redistricting cycle following the 2020 census: while it kept Dearborn, it lost Ann Arbor while gaining parts of Detroit. While prior to redistricting, Dingell lived in Dearborn, she chose to move to Ann Arbor and run in the new 6th district, which was drawn to contain Washtenaw County and Detroit suburbs in western Wayne County. This allowed Rashida Tlaib, who represented the old 13th district, to run in the new 12th district. Dingell faced no opposition in the Democratic primary. == Description == Eucalyptus globulus is a tree that typically grows to a height of 45 m (148 ft) but may sometimes only be a stunted shrub, or alternatively under ideal conditions can grow as tall as 90 m (300 ft), and forms a lignotuber. The bark is usually smooth, white to cream-coloured but there are sometimes slabs of persistent, unshed bark at the base. Young plants, often several metres tall, and coppice regrowth have stems that are more or less square in cross-section with a prominent wing on each corner. Juvenile leaves are mostly arranged in opposite pairs, sessile, glaucous elliptic to egg-shaped, up to 150 mm (5.9 in) long and 105 mm (4.1 in) wide. Adult leaves are arranged alternately, the same glossy to dark green on both sides, lance-shaped or curved, 150–300 mm (5.9–11.8 in) long and 17–30 mm (0.67–1.18 in) wide on a petiole 1.5–6 mm (0.059–0.236 in) long. The flower buds are arranged singly or in groups of three or seven in leaf axils, sometimes sessile or on a short thick peduncle. The individual buds are also usually sessile, sometimes on a pedicel up to 5 mm (0.20 in) long. === Political culture === In 1935, elections were reinstated, but only 1.8 per cent of the population was eligible to vote. In 1954, women won the right to vote. While initially peaceful, clashes later broke out near the United Nations building, where some demonstrators and Black bloc activists threw bottles, stones, firecrackers and flares at police, who responded with tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons. The No G7 coalition criticised the containment as an unjustifiable police operation, saying nearly 300 people, including organisers, were held for several hours before being released after identity checks.
==== Dll4 ==== Delta-like ligand 4 (Dll4) is a protein with a negative regulatory effect on angiogenesis. Dll4 is a transmembrane ligand, for the notch family of receptors. There have been many studies conducted that have served to determine consequences of the Delta-like Ligand 4. One study in particular evaluated the effects of Dll4 on tumor vascularity and growth. In order for a tumor to grow and develop, it must have the proper vasculature. The VEGF pathway is vital to the development of vasculature that in turn, helps the tumors to grow. The combined blockade of VEGF and Dll4 results in the inhibition of tumor progression and angiogenesis throughout the tumor. This is due to the hindrance of signaling in endothelial cell signaling which cuts off the proliferation and sprouting of these endothelial cells. With this inhibition, the cells do not uncontrollably grow, therefore, the cancer is stopped at this point. if the blockade, however, were to be lifted, the cells would begin their proliferation once again.
